Drawn Together
Drawn Together bridges the gap between generations through creativity. We host intergenerational art sessions for under-resourced youth and older adults, helping build connection, joy, and community.
Who We Are
Our names are Malena Atluri and Simren Bindra
Drawn Together began as a simple idea between two friends who wanted to create meaningful connections between generations. We saw both the power of creativity and the growing need for spaces where young people and seniors could feel heard, valued, and connected. Often, under-resourced kids lack creative outlets, and seniors face isolation. Art offered a way to bridge the gap and bring both groups together with purpose.
Today, we work with under-resourced kids to create art that is shared with seniors in our community. We host intergenerational art sessions where both groups can express themselves side by side. Together, we’ve seen firsthand how art can spark joy, conversation, and confidence.

Our Mission
Drawn Together is dedicated to fostering intergenerational connections through art and creativity. Our organization provides a unique space for kids and seniors to come together, share stories, and express themselves through art. We believe in the power of creativity to build bridges and create meaningful relationships.

Our Events

Art for Seniors
Kids create artwork that is gifted to older adults in local senior centers. Some activities we've done include picture frames and pictures, decorating pumpkins, and ornaments
Intergenerational Art Sessions
Kids and seniors meet in person to create art together and share stories. We have made keychains, light catchers, and friendship bracelets.
